Honda Activa 125 has got some praiseworthy new features and design elements which makes it a formidable competitor and includes a puffed out front panel with a chrome wing-like strip between a pair of clear lens indicators, a black crown above its bright headlight, a well sculpted metallic body, a viscous air filter, a maintenance free battery, a sharp tail light, a large floorboard with a convenient hook, a large and comfortable seat which is a little stepped at rear, black rear view mirrors on a nicely placed handlebar, nicely positioned passenger footrests, high rigidity underbone type chassis, digital readout on the perfectly illuminated instrument console for trip meter, odometer, time and other readings, 12-inch alloy wheels at front and 10-inch alloy wheels at rear with tuff up tires with a special layer of fluid between the tire and the tube to prevent immediate deflation for a stress-free ride and a comfy straight-back riding position. Honda Two Wheelers India has launched its first 125cc automatic scooter in India with the Activa 125.
Based on the hugely popular Activa, this new model is said to have been developed to offer a compelling blend of performance, efficiency, comfort and advanced features in the highly competitive 125cc scooter segment. Honda Activa 125 has a length of 1814mm, a width of 704mm and a height of 1151mm as its dimensions and a large wheelbase of 1260mm for a stable ride. Honda Activa 125 has got a combi-braking system with 135mm diameter drum brakes at front and rear with the option of a 190mm diameter front disk brake. The suspension system consists of telescopic forks at front and spring loaded hydraulic type at rear. Honda Activa 125 is available in 2 variants: Standard and Deluxe with a price tag of Rs. 55,130 and Rs. 61,300 respectively. It is available in four shades: White, Black, Blue and Silver. The Activa 125 is now on sale and is a competitor for the Piaggio Vespa S, Mahindra Duro and the Suzuki Access.
