Visually, Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is almost identical to its younger sibling, Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The wide and low stance of this bike can grab anyone?s attention on road. The exposed heavy metal engine, chrome finished long silencer and brake pedal are the characteristic features of Bullet. The wide fuel tank of Bullet sits on the top of its engine and sports metal emblem on it. This fuel tank merges nicely into its low positioned seat. The Royal Enfield Bullet bike now gets the most powerful engine developed by Royal Enfield which is also powering their other models like Thunderbird and Classic. It?s a mono cylinder, 4-stroke 500cc engine which produces a peak power of 26.1 bhp at 5100 rpm. The torque output of this fuel injected engine is of 40.9 Nm which arrives at 3800 rpm. This engine is mated with a five-speed manual gearbox with gear shift pattern of one gear down and four gears up-shift. Royal Enfield Bullet 500 are still no signs of modernity in this department as the bike still uses a naked but heavily chromed analogue instrument console. The bike lacks tachometer and trip meter and comes with basic analogue speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. Apart from its tool box there is not much storage space in this bike. The bike comes with pass button and powerful headlight which gives you clear vision of roads at night. Royal Enfield Bullet 500 bike shares its suspension system and chassis with Bullet 350 and feels quite similar to it in terms of ride and handling. It has a wheelbase of 1370mm which gives stability to this bike while its low ground clearance of 135mm helps it to get momentum easily. With slim tyres and short wheelbase, the bike doesn?t feel much confident around corners. The bike stays grounded on highways due to its heavyweight and gives you comfortable rides in city thanks to its strong suspension system. The new front disc brake makes a big difference to the ride of this bike. The bike stays well in control and can be handled easily on highways. Royal Enfield Bullet 500 uses R19 sizes of tyres. The only variant of this bike is available in one color. All other 500cc bikes of Royal Enfield are far more expensive than Bullet 500cc. The company also offers this bike with modern features like electric start and front disc brake. We feel it?s completely worth to buy this new cruiser machine as it offers impressive performance and gives you great amount of comfort on long journeys.
