The Honda Dio that has a young design is very dynamic and unisex in nature. It is powered by a 109cc air-cooled single cylinder that churns out 8bhp at 7000rpm and 8.8Nm at 5500rpm. The Dio gets the Honda Eco Technology (HET) that helps the scooter deliver fuel efficiency of 55kmpl. Honda Dio is quite a breeze especially in traffic. It can absorb most bumps quite well. Add to that a fuel economy of 48.5kpl and it gets harder not to like this scooter. There are a few drawbacks worth mentioning though, the 18-litre boot cannot swallow a full faced helmet. And please Honda give us a side stand as standard, not an optional extra.
Honda Dio scooter sport the combi-brake system (CBS) with which both front and rear brakes are applied when you pull the rear brake lever. It has 18-litres of storage space under the seat and is equipped with zero-maintenance battery. The Dio is available in jazzy blue metallic, sports red, candy palm green and black paint schemes. The Honda Dio competes with Yamaha Ray-Z, TVS Jupiuter and Hero Pleasure.
