BMW has launched the R nine T cafe racer in India. the company BMW is trying to capture the niche market for expensive cafe racers in India. The motorcycle BMW R nine T has an extremely stylish design with a modern touch and a muscular stance. It is constructed using a four-section frame with one front and three rear sections that makes it a solid performer. It also features a load-bearing engine-gearbox unit for easy manoeuvrability on roads. The bike BMW R nine T has a removable pillion frame for single ride use. This German bike maker is offering customizable options such as a carbon-fiber mudguard, an exhaust system from Akrapovic, a manufacturer of exhaust systems and bags which can be mounted on the rear and tank.
The BMW R Nine T is powered by a 1170cc, air or oil-cooled, four-stroke, flat twin-cylinder engine which is tuned to offer a maximum power of 110bhp @ 7550rpm with utmost torque of 119 Nm made @ 6000rpm. This two valve engine is mated to a six speed transmission for an amazing power and a single dry plate clutch system. It has a bore into stroke ratio of 101 x 73 respectively. The BMW R Nine T features a dialog-analogue instrument console that imparts retro as well as trendy looks to the bike. The panel displays the information like fuel gauge, low oil, fuel and battery indicators along with dual trip-meters on the digital part while the speedometer and tachometer are kept analogue. The centrally placed LCD display with rounded meters on its sides gives a futuristic look to the bike.
The braking system of BMW R nne T comprises of 320mm dual discs at the front while 265mm single disc brakes are placed at the rear end. The brakes come equipped with ABS which is quite effective and has greater stopping power. The front of motorcycle showcases Upside down telescopic forks with 46mm diameter, while the rear gets a mono-shock mounted onto a cast aluminum single sided swing-arm. The suspension system works flawlessly and effortlessly.
